The photography competition and exhibition "ŽENA WOMAN STRAKONICE" is an exhibition of art photography organized by FOTOTRADE s.r.o. under the auspices of the City of Strakonice and the Municipal Cultural Center Strakonice.

The competition is a challenge for amateur and professional photographers from all over the world who portray women in all situations that can occur in a woman's life.

B - DOCUMENT

B&W and color photography depicting a woman's life (family, work, leisure, love and relationships, motherhood, lifestyle, etc.)

(any B&W and color photographs on the theme of a woman)

Admittance fee::

The entrance fee is 500 CZK or 20 EUR

Entry fee of EUR 20 to be paid to FOTOTRADE s.r.o. Pls. include the text : ZWS 2021 & your full name in the comment. IBAN bank account nr. for foreign payments in EUR IBAN: CZ80 0300 0000 0002 8716 3850, BIC (SWIFT): CEKOCZPP. IPS 2019, 2020 and 2021 participants are exempt from the entry fee! Others: Photos sent without an entry fee will not be entered into the competition. Fees and photos must be received by 8 November 2021. Acceptance of competition photos and entry fee will be confirmed by e-mail.

Miscellaneous information:

The competition is intended for all photographers who send a maximum of 4 photos to one or more of the competition category topics. The minimum number of images is 1 photo and the maximum number of images can be 12 photos competing in 3 categories.

By sending the works, the participant of the competition agrees to the conditions set by the organizer. The competition photographs must be exclusively the work of the author and the contestant must own all the copyrights to the photos sent. The contestant agrees with the fact that his/her photos can be published in connection with both the competition and the exhibition.The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse the inclusion of photographs in the competition, especially if they do not comply with the rules and focus of the competition. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right not to include in the competition photos that have already been included in this competition in previous years. Author membership in any photographic organization is not required. A photo must not contain any elements created by anyone else (for example: clip art, images, or art of other authors downloaded from the Internet). Furthermore, no identification of the author in the competition photo (logo, author's name, etc.) is allowed.

Photos must be sent in digital form (taken with a digital camera or scanned from film), in JPEG (JPG) format. The minimum size of the longer side is 1920px, the recommended longer side dimension is 2500px . The photographs evaluated by the jury will be printed for the exhibition at the organizer's expense and will remain the property of the organizer.
